Final Year Project

Elephant Detection and Localization Using Infrasound in Noisy Environment

A sustainable adaptive sensor actuator system for elephant detection and localization using infrasound. This research aims at using laboratory made low-cost infrasound sensor system to detect infrasonic elephant calls from a long range and localize them using sound localization techniques. The successful application of this research aims to mitigate the human-elephant conflict in Sri Lanka, with a set of low cost devices.
