Online portal for the Sri Lankan street artists to promote their paintings, expand their market and minimize the geographic restrictions when selling on the streets.

Final Year Project

A Voice Based Forum for the Blind Community of Sri Lanka using Smart Mobile Devices

The main objective of the project is to develop a community moderated voice-based smartphone application for the visually impaired people that allows them to share information in a customized platform. This will enable them to be socially included in the society and organize themselves and a group. The application will be developed using Java and Android Studio 2, The inbuilt Text-To- Speech engine has been used to assist the visually impaired when using smartphones. The project involves carrying out a gap analysis, design, development and testing the solution in iterative cycles.
